The Euston to London Heathrow Airport Route

It’s simple to get from Euston to London Heathrow, with two stages of your journey. First, you’ll travel from Euston to London Paddington. Then it’s a quick train ride on the Heathrow Express to Heathrow Airport.

How to get from London Euston to Paddington

You have a few different options to get from London Euston to London Paddington. You can jump in a cab from London Euston, with the journey to Paddington taking around five minutes depending on the traffic. If you have time, the walk should take you just under half an hour or you can jump on a bus – the number 30 towards Marble Arch is a popular route.

The simplest and one of the quickest routes is to make the short walk to Euston Square and jump on the Circle Line or Hammersmith & City Line, for three stops to London Paddington on the London Underground.

Finding the Heathrow Express in Paddington

Once you arrive at London Paddington, make your way to the main station concourse. Our Heathrow Express platforms are usually six and seven, so head through the ticket barriers with your ticket in hand. Always check the boards at the station in case we’re running from a different platform.

All aboard the Heathrow Express

The Heathrow Express is the quickest and simplest way to get from London Paddington to Heathrow Airport. Our trains run every 15 minutes and take just 15 minutes to get to Heathrow, with no stops along the way.

There’s plenty of room for your luggage, free Wi-Fi and the choice of Standard Class or Business First Class. Kids aged 15 and under travel for free too.

Arriving at Heathrow Airport

Heathrow Express trains take just 15 minutes to travel from London Paddington to Heathrow Central and an extra six minutes to arrive at Terminal 5 station. If you’re flying from Terminal 2 or 3, it’s a short walk from Heathrow Central. For Terminal 4, leave the train at Heathrow Central and take the shuttle bus to your terminal.
