Milton Keynes to London: Getting into the capital
The first stage of your journey is to take the train from Milton Keynes to London Euston. Trains leave Milton Keynes Central around every 10-15 minutes, with direct services running into London Euston. The quickest train from Milton Keynes to London Euston is just over half an hour, whilst the slower trains can take over an hour.
Getting from Euston to Paddington
Having arrived at London Euston on the train from Milton Keynes, you need to make your way to London Paddington. The easiest and one of the quickest options for the journey is to stroll to Euston Square (it’s a few minutes’ walk) and take the London Underground to Paddington. Take either the Circle Line or Hammersmith & City Line and it’s only three stops.
Alternatively, you can take a cab, walk or jump on the bus. Walking to Paddington from Euston will take at least half an hour. A cab may be quick, depending on the traffic, but will be your most expensive option.
Where's the Heathrow Express in Paddington
Once you arrive at Paddington, head to the Heathrow Express platforms – Platform 6 and Platform 7. First, you’ll go to the main concourse in the train station. From the Tube, take the escalators up and follow the signs to the train station. If you get the bus, walk or take a taxi, head into the station by one of the street entrances and walk to the main concourse.
From the main concourse, go through the ticket barriers and walk to platforms six and seven. Always check the boards at the station to make sure we’re not running from a different platform on the day.
