Terminal 2

Terminal 2, affectionately known as "The Queens Terminal" is located east of Heathrow's central area, it's connected to Terminal 3 by an underground walkway and both terminals share a rail station.

Terminal 3

Terminal 3 is located in the centre of Heathrow and shares many amenities like a rail station and car parking with Terminal 2.

Terminal 4

Terminal 4 is located on the South side of Heathrow near the airport's cargo terminal. It's accessible from Terminal 2 & 3's rail station via a free shuttle bus.

Terminal 5

Terminal 5 can be found on the Western end of Heathrow and has its own rail station which is used by the Heathrow Express

Where are Heathrow’s terminals?

London Heathrow is the largest airport in the UK and the second busiest in the world.

It has four terminals: Terminal 2, Terminal 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5.

Terminal 3 is located towards the centre of the airport, with Terminal 2 to the east and Terminal 5 to the west. Terminal 4 is found towards the south of the airport.

Terminals 2 and 3 are close to each other and are linked by a pedestrian passage you can walk on foot. It should take you around 10 minutes to walk between the terminals. You’ll also find Heathrow Central train station in walking distance from Terminals 2 and 3.

Terminals 4 and 5 are located further away from the more central hub of the airport. You’ll need to hop on a shuttle bus to get from Heathrow Central to Terminal 4, whilst Terminal 5 has its own train station.

Where does the Heathrow Express stop?

The Heathrow Express stops first at Heathrow Central train station, which is walking distance to Terminals 2 and 3. It then continues for another six minutes to reach Terminal 5 station for flights from Terminal 5. If you’re flying from Terminal 4, it’s just a short bus ride from Heathrow Central.

Why isn’t Terminal 1 included?

Terminal 1 was closed in 2015 to make way for the expansion of Terminal 2. There’s no map available of Terminal 1 as it no longer exists at Heathrow Airport.
